I don't even know what marmite tastes like... Never seen Marmite in Belgium before and wouldn't know if there's a belgian variant of it.

Ok then. I had a jar of this stuff about 20 years ago. I remember the smell to today. I don't think I could get myself to actually taste it. If I did, I'd probably remember it. But my tastes have changed over time... I like a lot of things I used to hate when younger. Why just the other day I discovered I like Licorice (Drop for you Euros). I'm quite the adventurous eater so I might fancy a jar of some Marmite. If I remember correctly... the Aussies spread a thin layer on buttered toast.

Perhaps that's because, "Marmite XO is matured for 28 days compared with the usual seven and will be in the shops from next week."

I fucking hate marmite, and this is completely off topic, but my close mate is getting famous inna youtube world after painting simon cowell in marmite, on toast. Even made the ITV news, BBC news and Blue Peter recently with it. Shameless plugging bidness, but he's in talks with Marmite and is potentially gonna work onna advertising campaigns for it.
