Definitely agree here, was quite funny/interesting to see what happens to people when their intimacy zones get invaded to such an extent. Nice and warm too.

Thought the night went better than anticipated, and it was definitely a defining moment in the growth of dubstep.
Distance's set was tight, well built with some smooth mixing, although the soundsystem didn't seem to have warmed up properly. Digital Mystikz were class; plenty of classic dmz tunes, and the bass seemed to get going. Thought virus syndicate were a bit weak personally, i've seen them before and in my opinion they work better in a much smaller, personal venue. Plasticman was heavy; upfront, faster grime tunes really lifted the tempo just as the room started to get packed and the mixing was flawless. Kode9 was, for me, something of a mixed bag. He dropped some deep and classic tunes ie 9 samurai, but also a lot of stuff i havent heard before and wasn't feeling, but the soundsystem didn't really do him justice. Hatcha b2b with Skream was full of big tunes but the number of rewinds meant the set didn't have the continuity it could have had, but it was nevertheless still sick.
The pillheads and kids were annoying, but thats just a part of fabric. Dubstep seemed to be quite well received with most of the random punters/pillheads skanking away with most of the dubstep heads. The sound system proved adequate, but the bass didn't have the same physical effects as FWD. In fairness to fabric though it seemed they took the time to tune it, i've been to dnb and hiphop nights in room 2 where the sounds been shite.
Can't really comment on the barmaids, i'm more of a smoker personally.
oi oi!

night was good, although the sound system was a bit stop and start. the bass really came in when mala played anti war dub, and japan sounded amazing. blue notez also came through something special!

but yeah, a bit too many rewinds during hatcha b2b skream, and they would wheel it up right after the drop, which means all we're going to hear again is the intro?

Plasticman was the best set i thought. Although i think he pitches up his tunes a bit too much. The vocals all sounded too high.

Sound was a bit poor in places, and the bass pressure wasn't that evident.

And SpaceApe's mic was really low for his first half.

Still, nice for a change! The main room was like a school disco with a large amount of drugs.

was glad to get in tho, had to sit down after about an hour cos bein on my feet for 4 hours in the queue without a lot of movement tired my lickle legs, but skanked as much as i could manage.

out to the dubstep virgin i was with who was tolerant enough to queue for 4 hours for a type of music he was unfamiliar with, grand, krome 'who's grand?' star, heny, metalface-recognition-sophie, benga, benga's noises, farrah and zahra who i somehow managed to not see ALL night, lucky who i didn't even know was there... that's how much i managed to not see him all night.
i would have thort u were lookin 4 me 2!!!!
oh well, i'll see u at that thing at herbal! u wont b able to miss me there!
im the 1 who wont look like a geek!
