questions about korg electribe

anyone own one? my buddy has one and they are pretty awesome, im about to get myself one on ebay.

just curious what people think of them, and also, my buddy has the es1 mk2, im getting the es1. what is this difference between the two? there doesnt seem to be any to me.. es1 looks like it has a newer design.

nvm i figured out the difference between the two :D

hope the wah on the mk1 does suck, but there is a way to turn it into the mod delay on the mk2

es1 is only a synth no drums from what I remember :(

id check all the other brands before u decided to buy a korg esp if your friend has one you should buy a different one so u could swap every so often

roland + akai make some amazing stuff

I've used the sampler and the synth for years. Great live instruments, and cheap too!

I sold both of them a year ago, and bought the new electribe sampler instead. It has two synth parts and four outputs, so it actually does the job of two I sold.

The electribe synth essentially learned me all I know about music. Rythm programming, harmonies everything. They are REALLY intuitive, even for somebody who knows nothing about music or MIDI. I sold the old ones to a friend of mine, who is just starting to make music.
