i have both presonus firebox and m-audio fast track pro... why is m-audio worse? i actually prefer to use m-audio. don't have to restart the laptop everytime i use the interface...
still firewire must have some pros compared to usb 2.0

m-audio tend to have a driver issue which seems to have been fixed, but compared to others in same price range shittier preamps, casing and builds. plus they have like a 2% failure rate direct out the box.

I was especially impressed with the low end clarity. Nothing I have heard even close to that price range really compares... that I have checked out anyway. Going to get the sub that goes with it this year at some point too I think.

Careful, ADDICTING. I was going to get the foot switch that allowed me to take the sub out of the loop, but once I got my sub set, I NEVER want to listen to ANYTHING without it!!!
