Over the past three months no artist has been requested by AKA ROAR party goers more times than 21 year old, south London producer JAMES BLAKE.
The man of the moment on this emerging scene he has spun the dubstep style out with new electronic colours and an electro-acoustic attention to detail that simply wasn't there previously. His 'The Bells Sketch' is an extraordinary meeting of styles, "finding a tender pressure point between crackly, Oramic melodic naivety and dynamically enhanced dubstep weight." His remix of Untold’s “Stop What You’re Doing” was championed by the likes of Mary Ann Hobbs and Gilles Peterson, and he is a live singer with the group MOUNT KIMBIE, we have heard he's a pretty dope DJ too...

James will be supported by the AKA resident and gin connoisseur known as BEN WHITE, Ben has been rocking the decks at Aka since its humble beginning and, despite the odd bottle of Life's Hendricks being unaccounted for, its good to have a man with his knowledge and skill behind the 1210's.
Alongside him will be 'Stickie Dickie' Davis - providing AKA with a slightly darker, edgy brand of dub we are chuffed to have Dickie aboard to keep the dancefloor moving into the early hours.
