just listened to this for the first time, at the S&C part!!!

and yeah that's Rusko on the vocals, he just vocoded it to sound like Roger Troutman, there's one point where he sings it at a different pitch than the original. Pretty impressive how close it actually sounds to Roger Troutman though...
