Joe Nice is the only guy I've seen who was strictly vinyl. Tes La Rok used CDJs a fair bit.

That's in radio only isn't it? He only plays vinyl on the clubs I think, unless he's having problems with the needle like on fwd the other day, not sure though

nope seen him play here in manchester using cdjs like 2 times in his set, as said, just for kryptic minds tunes that are so new they arent even on wax yet

me tbh if i had the choice again i would probs opt for serato, not been able to buy a tune for about 2 months because im so broke If i'd spent the money I have on records (£7000?) I could have a pretty sweet set up!

what do you mean by clueless? clueless about other peoples music?

i've heard them live a few times; they mainly play there own music, which i liked because they don't seem to give there tunes to many dj's to play.

there is nothing worse than going to a rave and hearing every dj playing the same tunes.

id be interested to know why benga and skream have made the switch? they always seemed such staunch supporters of vinyl and dubplates? same with loefah.

I dunno, there's been enough times I've played out on a shitty turntable setup with the needle scraping over the record and one deck feeding back...

but yeah, vinyl forever. all you digital DJs are gonna be fucked if we run out of electricity. I'll just go get two gramaphones and still be able to rock my tunes.

strange to see these comments about benga playing cdj's. when he came here he way spinning strictly vinyl.
