I did some further research into "Bros". Urban Dictionary states there are 2 kinds of Bros.

a) Frat house Bros
b) Dirt bike/ Extreme Bros

This brings up a huge issue for people thinking they like brostep... I mean I thought I liked brostep, but now I have no idea what to think!

Do I want to wobble it up with red cups and Izod shirts, or do I want to hop in my big ass truck and thump the new Trillbass shit on the way to my bros house to hit his 30' tabletop...

Can anyone tell me the difference between College and Dirtbike step?

p.s.
If i dont fall under either category but i still like brostep, should i call it something else? maybe I could just call it dubstep?

So much confused.

Thanks in advance!

LOL. As long as there is something to be a part of there will always be arguement. FOREVER!

I bet disco heads got pretty angry when peeps were starting to make house. Then the Chicago house peeps heard Detroit House and were like "ah man wtf is this fucking shit! Ewww! Detroit House!" and so on and so on.

If we were all into another form of music im sure wed be arguing along the same lines.

At this point there is no arguement, other than it is fun as hell to stir the brostep hater pot.

If people don't like a song, they tend to make up some stupid new genre because they don't want people to call it Dubstep. There is allowed to be such thing as a shit dubstep song you know...

If you like a song then listen to it, if you don't then don't. But accept that some people will like what you don't, that doesn't mean they are wrong lol.

Genres just create preconceptions about a track, not to mention arguments like this one.

^ This is what I mean :) . Music isn't about what's right or wrong, it's about personal expression and taste, there's obviously people who like this stuff otherwise there wouldn't be a market for it. I personally don't like the out of tune borgore/funtcase stuff much, but I do like the more intelligent stuff like datsik excision, who actually make decent tracks. I also like the original stuff like cyrus, hatcha, the early skream, loefah, early benga, n-type etc. Music is personal taste and expression, people have just gotta accept that what they don't like other people are allowed to like...

With the exception of RnB - that's a genre that should die out... :u:
