-Pub DUb ----luvd ya intro, made me think to use an Albert Hoffman sample for ma next track, the subby wobble at 33 sounds quite nice.but sounds like something is not quite right, i cant pick it tho, but when it kicks in again at 100 im not diggn it as much, did ya layer it or just repitch? cant really hear ya kick, a little work on that will do wonders.

-Ruari----- bro whats up with ya intro?? def work on that. abit of variation is needed. what software are ya using? using a wind instrument like this as a wobble is quite bad on ma ears ay, its way to high. ummmm...keep at it, ya will def clik to it after awhile.

-cleanexecution--- i luv piano!!hahaha, that quacky sound could prob stay a lil lower to keep with the feel of the intro,.....but wait,shit...then it turned into a high end massacre! k, so ya need to just put all the sounds into better positions....turn down levels,eq,whateva...choice is yours. but its sounding way to full in the mid high range ay.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

this is what im working on at the mo. i havent really put it in the right levels yet, like to build ma foundation first, the intro piece is samples i made by recording a midi efekted channel & changing effects as i went along. gota luv dem buses ah. sooooo give i some feedbak, really want to be critiqued to the fullest...then i can learn faster!!!AHAHAHAHAH CHEA!!

Cheers for the feedback but its not meant to be a wobble at all, not really trying to make a wobbly dupstep tune. Maybe just listening to it through differetn kinds of speakers or something cause it sounds nothing like a wobble through mine. Do think it needs changed a bit though. I'm using Ableton 8 anyway.

@ soulshynchyld; Intro's pretty dark. Like it... Not a fan of ping pong delay much, but yeah, personal opinion blah blah blah
The snare's also pretty tasty and I'm not even saying this for a laugh, but MORE COWBELL. Or some other perc after the snare hit would be pretty nice, haha

Looped section of what I've been working on this evening. Bass needs changing up and I'm still looking for the right Asian-y string sample I have in mind. Had to keep the volume down as it's nearly 5am, so the levels might need tweaking, but anyone up for a critique? :D

-jemGrover-- reckon the kick isnt coming through enough, just compared to ya bass ay. with the bass it might be a good idea to copy it & keep it below 75hz, then ya can turn down the midrange abit, but ay thats what i would do. nice lil loop bro, but im not quite bangn ma head. something about the rhythm thats not quite right, but i cant pick it ay. still... maybe itll pik up abit when ya spread it out!!chea

---------------------------------
bro theres no cowbell..hahahhah, it was just a sound that came out when i was fukn around. but yeah i know what ya mean.
the track kinda went to a darker place, im quite happy with whats happening now. I know some of yall are guna say something bout putting liks on it, but ay....thats just what i do. anyways have a listen...even has a name now!!!chea
Soundcloud

p.s. using headphones at the mo... ill wait till i can hear it through decent monitors b4 i put the vocals in their right place

bro ya cant just jump in say thanks for feedback & not give feedbak yoself, its just not healthy.
rekn ya track could go alot further if ya repitch that sample & turn it more into an instrument, ya got 2 basslines running into eachother abit ay. eq them differantly if ya real have2 have them together. mayb a deep bassline would give the sample enuf character to make it sound like its changing. ya vocal samples come in real nice tho.chea

I really like the atmospheric parts! The bass seems a bit odd/misplaced in my opinion, though. I like the line that kicks in at approx. 1:12 way better.

The synth really is a bit too present and imo too detuned, but I like the effects.

Otay, so here is an old loop I dug up and finally want to extend (nQuake is awesome). Any suggestions?

@ Gemgrover, I would use that voice sample half as often, maybe use something else to add more interest to the synth, drums sounding cool though

@ Abstrym, I like it, Kinda want more kick's / different percussion to give it more of a double time feel, could just be me though

@ Karamp, I quite like the melodic part, snare sounds a little weak, sounding cool though

Nice punchy drums, works well in the intro although i think the kick could be a lot more interesting. The drops great too, maybe try doubling the length of the reverse, maybe not. subs maybe a little too present but thats all down to personal preference. Overall a nice punchy and heavy track, not dirty really but it wouldn't work if it was. Good job mate look forward to the final :D

A lot of potential here i think. With a good mix and a bit more variation this could be a banger.

Good atmosphere here mate. Can imagine on the floor this would be very effective. Had a lot more expectation in the drop to be honest though. Can see what your going for but the way it builds up suggests other things to me. Only my opinion of course.

--------------------------

My ongoing work in progress Brain Transplant is in my signature. Feel near to completion with this but still think its lacking a little something. Feedback would be great.

Nice work, i'm really liking the drums and the way you're using the bass. There could be a bit more variety, but thats just me. Waiting to hear the finished version :D

Liking this. Sounds pretty original to me, good drop on it and I like the change-up near the end. Drums and wobble sound good, if I had to give anything constructive I'd say it sounds a bit empty at times, something that maybe some pads/atmospheric sounds/percussion could fill in.
