I probably favor the built in samplers with Ableton more than anything. Not technically vsti. Massive and Albino I constantly go back to because I know how to manipulate them the best. Learning ACE right now. I really don't know how to use it very well but the sound is fucking... well... ace.

Basement Arts Reflex drum slicer. Its my goto for drum triggering and tempo syncing loops quickly. Although it doesnt play nice with the latest versions of cubase/nuendo, so im still using nuendo 3.

Ive just discovered Gladiator 2 vsti , which is bringing some attitude to my psy trance tracks

Battery!

As far as synths go, I always go back to Surge.

Actually never tried FM8 or Absynth (since version 1)...will have to give them a go at some point.

My favourite vsti has to be chlamydia followed closely by herpes(because it's funny-ish).

My least favourite is the HIV, that's just tragic.

*Edit: I've heard you can't wobble with HIV's Advanced Aids filter.

Would love to hear some 24 bit wave samples from ace, abz.

Helix is a fucking fuck. I'm trying it out, and it makes awesome sounds, but I'm such a subractive person, I want a filter to dull shit out, like not just removing harmonics from one component of the sound, but just filtering! Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no filter in there. Lots of damn controls. Looks like some serious learning.

Speaking of filters, my favorite vst would be a filter that sounds really good. I still haven't found it.

Massive is prolly my favorite vsti, just cause I use(d) it on everything I did. Pretty much made most of my sounds in there.

Fuck, I love redline reverb, and fabfilter timeless.
