Will be interesting to see what the production forum thinks of this.

The snare's also pretty tasty and I'm not even saying this for a laugh, but MORE COWBELL. Or some other perc after the snare hit would be pretty nice, haha

Looped section of what I've been working on this evening. Bass needs changing up and I'm still looking for the right Asian-y string sample I have in mind. Had to keep the volume down as it's nearly 5am, so the levels might need tweaking, but anyone up for a critique? :D

really like this tune- has a kl feel to it (:
Ahh, the boards got so messy I'm confused, but on the off chance that was aimed at me? ..Cheers, dude :D Totaly 'effed the track up somehow though so it now sounds unbareably muddy and I've spent the best part of 3 hours trying to fix it. 'tis on the scrap pile now :u:

Slightly changed things bit, have been told it sounds odd on different speakers but fine on mine so can't really do much about that.

Something i pooped out today
Feedback first, then post audio
Did I even ask for feedback?
Mate you're posting a clip to audio in a thread titled "Works-in-progress for feedback" maybe it's me being stupid but I thought that the wanting feedback was implied? :?

Here is my current thing, wanna know your thoughts please, be as harsh or kind as you want with feedback I really don't care anymore,

peace
Nice tune in the intro. Don't know about the bitcrushy bass throughout, though. I'd add a different, less talky one in either another part with the same/similar line or combine the two in the mainline. The drums are awesome, though!
DubNemesis wrote:My ongoing work in progress Brain Transplant is in my signature. Feel near to completion with this but still think its lacking a little something. Feedback would be great.
Really liking it. Nice bass! Sounds completed to me, too. Don't really know what to improve, except tweaking the mixdown a little and getting it mastered...
lowpass wrote:@ Abstrym, I like it, Kinda want more kick's / different percussion to give it more of a double time feel, could just be me though
More kicks? It got, like, double bass drums the second half
Elaborate, please? Or are you talking about the huge gaps after the crash cymbals?
DubNemesis wrote:A lot of potential here i think. With a good mix and a bit more variation this could be a banger.
Thanks! Really need to get decent equipment for mixing, soon.

Thanks for the feedback so far, guys.
I had a small detour.

I feel like this could really be made into something good. It has a really nice feel-good vibe to the whole thing, synths sound pretty cool.

i'm into that, it's dark as fuck. if the drums were a bit higher in the mix i reckon it'd be a banger!

here's another clip of a spur of the moment thing i started throwing together earlier:

any feedback is welcome!
