so now everyone cares about juke. pssh, we been up on this for ages in the detroit/chicago area, i guess all my old vinyls are worth something now, and I got doubles/triples of most of them because spinning with just one cut of a track doesnt work when you are spinning ghetto tech/juke.

Check:
Databass Records
Twilight 76 (are they around anymore?)

It's basically impossible to find great Juke at 320 anywhere on the net

This mix is great, some fantastic WTF cheesy moments in there. First tune reminds me so much of jungle as well.

The shit most of us are enthusing over is pretty removed from the older, housier style. Ghettotech/ghetto house has been known worldwide for years.

LOL! just checkin out some of this juke on youtube. this music is bizarre, if anything it just seems like a bit of a hood in-joke. like a bunch of a guys seeing how far they can get away with making possibly the most under produced music i think ive ever heard, but cos of their ghetto credentials everyones gonna see this as raw, cool, cutting edge music. smh

A term for ghetto house or booty music that's popular in the Chicago area. I think the person who knows Juke Music then I am sure that they also know this.

Nah nah I prefer it to sound like a toddler bashing the keyboard of a redrum preset, if it's well produced it isn't Juke (that I am interested in)

Juke is the black equivalent of Black Metal so to speak

I have band recordings on dictaphones that sound a million times better than recordings by bands on pro tools in top of the range studios.

but you already know this...

FYI: juke is slang for dance. so there are juke style from all around the USA. Memphis Juke is like Krunk with a popping style that combines cwalk, running man and gliding. Miami Date is more booty tempo with a dance style thats more carrib salsa/dancehall - mixes with boppin and stickin.

you sound like a twat.
