Thnx  BTW if anyones heard this on the radio and don't think the mix sounds all that don't be fooled the mixes sound fine its just they are designed for the club not for radio listening. I've always done my mixes loud (hairy not overcooked and not as loud as is standard with DNB) and with tons of bass which works great in a club but I guess that could be a problem on the radio mabeye bcos the radio DJs aren't hearing the same processed signal as the listeners or mabeye because ppl are just being slopping with their levels or forgetting to turn the bass back to 0 after the last tune (my mixes dont need any bass boost 0 is where the bass sounds best).

Either way I'm changing the way I do my mixes - ill be using less bass limiting, a little less sub volume and a little less overall gain for digital masters (not for vinyl) so there a bit more headroom - hopefully that will make my mixes a bit more robust to being played too loud or bassy. Hearing my tunes sounding overcooked on the radio has put me off my old approach - plenty of big producers at the moment do the sort of mixes that have stupidly high volume levels and yet can still cope with extra radio compression at the expense of their sub volume, I won't be following that approach as I like my sub bass weight too much I just hope DJs on radio 1 don't mistake my lower volume for weakness as its just me trying to find a happy medium between what works in a club and what works on the radio.

big up mr sparx each and every. Hadn't heard this arcade tune before, really like it! Casino is indeed nice too.

Your tunes always sound nice and loud in the club and they are amongst the few tunes I never need to tweek the eq's for (which is nice for consistancy when mixing). Dont change your mix too much, though im sure you know what your doing lol

Why not just make special radio versions?

I've got no interest in boosting my tops & mids + castrating my sound of sub bass to make it radio "proof" the way Nero/Sub Focus/C & S do even if it is only for a radio mix plus I waste enough time for fuk all £ on this bullshit scene as it is without adding extra time for radio mixes that will be largely ignored by daytime djs anyway.

I don't like the way digital masters are just getting louder and louder whilst vinyl is naturally limited by the constraints of the format, anyone playing vinyl of my releases who remembers to leave the bass on 0 won't have any problems with radio limiting
