Actress:
Head honcho of Werk-Discs, Actress's uncompromising live sets take the terse and yet maleable sounds of South London and mash them with the more linear side of techno forging a splintered hybrid.
The Werk Parties are now the stuff of legend with the cream of the underground dropping by to spin their wares... as an imprint they foster such wonky talent as Starkey, Radioclit and Stacs of Stamina and new kid on the block Lukid.
Never ever one for musical intertia, Actress will be playing out exclusive tracks from his forthcoming album on Werk, to be released in March.
Monochrome: Glasgow's own homegrown Dubstep producer is the multifacted and dextrous Tom Churchill who for years have been producing house and techno for his own emoticon and headspace labels.
Having been comprehensively seduced by the black magic of the two-step scene his golden touch has been igniting dancefloors in Glasgow since last July when he debuted in the Sub Club to an exceptional response.
Interakt Crew: Long time southern co-horts yet new to the 'Fro, these two gentlemen bring messed up electro and sickeningly rude techno from their ascendant club night in London which has featured the likes of N-Type, Youngsta, Ceefax Acid, Si Begg, Tenniswood, Marco Bernardi and Benga.....

Manners Maketh Man
aye we can easily sort out some regulars passes for the EE crew... depends on demand really.electric eliminator wrote:think those other dudes play some of it mixed with other styles jim, but i could be wrong...actress is well worth hanging about for though!
ill need to speak to matt to sort out some guesties for fortified regulars are you on the email mailing list for that?
also Actress will be distinctly dance hall, he runs werk discs so partial to some dubstep flavas as well as jacking electro, two step techno and a smattereing of acid...
it should flow fine... darren knows how to keep things hot.....
Interakt crew equally run a night in London where they mix up their guests and tunes similar to this.... messy electro and dubstep getting rattled together.
Heh, no offense to the later acts, I suppose I probably will end up coming along and if I do I'll defo be staying for the whole thing. Just a personal thing, because I've cut out the booze and any other substances at the moment and generally can't be fucked going out to a club 'til 3am unless it's something that I know I'll love
no worries.... I understand.jim wrote:Heh, no offense to the later acts, I suppose I probably will end up coming along and if I do I'll defo be staying for the whole thing. we could look at a 'satisfaction or your money back gaurentee' type door deal? these always work a treat with drinkers...
you'd be a new sober challenge though... always good for reliable feedback in the aftermath...
if you are not happy then come and find me .... i'll be propping up the bar whilst debating about half step with the polo shirted twats who fail to get into Pressure.
feel free to come and rescue me.
