same filter as the ms-20 but seriously this thing is a god damn toy. i am assuming you can run an external source through it and from what i've heard it should cost around 60 bucks. i second the meh.

Personally I think it is wicked. Yeah, of course it isn't a serious synth - but it is fun and makes nasty noises, what isn't to like? I have found that many of my favorite sounds come from "toys"...

Same reason for me. Also, in terms of using it live, I think it would be interesting to run it into Looper in Live 8 and mangle it

You know. Korg really is an amazing company. They've been sorta slack in some departments over the past few years. But they really have some amazing innovative products. ANd not just synths, just all their products in general. WHen their Pandora portable guitar thing came out years ago, it was unmatched for quality and price. I still to this day use my Toneworks Ax1000g for guitar and for synth stuff.

My Monotron just arrived today.

It is WICKED.

A tiny lil toy to be sure, but feeding in one's own audio is where the WIN is. My first experiments were with my Bugbrand Postcard Weevil (see video I posted above) going into the Monotron and it was just sticky icky icky.

Definitely the next experiments will be with cassette saturated cello... then obviously some found sounds and who know what after that.
