from a dnb perspective, and someone who runs a hardcore dnb label, might i suggest the 2 following options...
1) elemental
this guy is absolutely wicked. if konflict made dubstep, this is what it would sound like.
2) h.e.n.c.h. crew
without any sort of contest in my book, these guys hold the title of best crew in dubstep. very much akin to the sounds of no u-turn ala dubstep. this is probally why thier sounds appeal to me more than other dubstep crews. i have the sneaking suspicion that based upon thier unique sound that no one else has, they will probally move in the same footsteps like the no u-turn crew, how it turned to virus and how neurofunk developed from that crew.
regardless, these guys are going to be a precursor to something even larger in this music, i just know it.
unfortunately, they arent dropping plates all over the place with the exception of one member named headhunter. wedge is probally the best one to look into this matter, as he plays everyones tunes from the crew damn near exclusively on h is radio show on sub fm on tuesdays from 10-12 (time correct?)
the best way to hear thier sounds is to acquire thier mixes. barefiles was the best source to get these mixes, tho im sure they have a few floating around in the audio section.
they all also have myspace pages. you can check out the following artists:
http://www.myspace.com/henchbass (whiteboi)
http://www.myspace.com/wedgedj (dj wedge)
http://www.myspace.com/dubstepheadhunter (headhunter)
http://www.myspace.com/jakeshench (j@kes aka mc jakes from dnb)
http://www.myspace.com/komonazmuk (komazmuk aka ice minus from dnb)
gatekeeper and appleblim from skull disco are also closely associated with the h.e.n.c.h. crew it seems as i hear thier tunes frequently on wedge's show as well.
