I get fucking psyched when I listen to a tune from these boys... times have moved on... It's good for the genre to be honest.
its how
one aspect of the scene is progressing.
also whats with all this 'times have moved on' in this thread, like all there is now is this midrange. are you saying that mala's ep is already too late, heny g's album will sound too old?
was loling about the same thing, these kids think that the style has
progressed to this, when the style has been around for ages doing the same thing, if anything these kids have solidified around one specific style of dubstep and stagnated with each other trying to out filth each other... they killed jungle that way and now they're doing it to dubstep, soon they'll move on and try to put the simple drums and wobbles over whatever else is "new and exciting" to them, allow it. the mere fact that stuff like this is #1 at chemical is proof of the stupidity of the masses.
south3rn wrote:funtcase wrote:think its a bit harsh me doc p and bare noiz are aimed at, as we do actually have a different sound.
im not gonna rant back, feel its stupid, you do what you do i do what i do...but youve definetely aimed this at me as im currently number 1 in chemical, which to me sounds like its keeping the scene healthy
but Smash Mouth sells more records than you, and with this logic, are better than you.
exactly. Brittany Spears sells a lot of records, her music is still garbage

its all relative but theres always a standard of taste, otherwise nothing would ever be good or bad, itd all be relatively good or bad, relative to what? "i duno... what i think is good or bad"
dont make sense, you jus go round in circles
theres reasons for what makes things popular, and theres different reasons for what makes things good, things cross between those two also

people need to realize having #1 at chemical dont mean shit in the grand scheme of things and TBH you dont need to sell that many tunes to make the chemical topten
all its a reflection of is that there is lots of djs playing shit music

i think jump up would be better if they simply
put a donk on it.
seriously though, donk is probably the prerequisite to getting into the dajjal of music which is, jump up dubstep

Thankfully drum & bass is cured currently from da wobble since all wobble producer set their focus now more on dubstep because they can make more money out of it. Still loads of superb dubstep around, but sadly (or thankfully) its a bit overlooked by the masses. Problem is that Dubstep gets a bit of a bad name when everybody associates it only to some wobble acts. I think this is not good for the genre. It would be better if the scene finally splits and the 13 - 16 year old go with the wobble. Than they could do what they want, even put a donk on it.

I dont care.

I'm obviously going to have to listen to Plant Food on endless repeat to drown out the acres of shit being churned out in this thread. It has made me So Vexed. Insecure little Gargoyles.

Yeah, but try to get the thousands (maybe more) of youtube kids who've taken up filth to change their ways.
I'm not trying to make them change their ways... i don't want them to. They are the ones that obviously don't have a clue so i would prefer it if they stook to their own shitty filthy wobbly sub-genre! This is what i'm saying, they can do whatever they want but if people just stopped getting so bothered about them this scene would be much more relaxed, instead of people getting so worried all the time!

Whats wrong with liking what you like? I mean just cus some of u dont like something it doesnt automatically make it shit. If someone wants to put aload of cheesy samples in their tunes then why shouldnt they? This musics meant to be fun but u all have gotta ruin it and split it all into sub genres because u dont like something and therefore nobody else should either. U r dubstep facists. Zich heil XD

People are just worrying to much. Let the scene grow, it's always going to have something you don't like about it in it.

Have you heard yourselfs? We are all part of this "Dubstep scene" and everyone contributes to it in some way or another. All these arguments are just fucking stupid.

i don't think this forum can come back from this!
joke thread. the original poster can hardly comment on 'jump up' in such a way, to many his own music would fall in the same category he is hating on.
