Here's my latest effort. Will comment on more tunes as they come through

edit: @ Gravity. Nice dark tune man, really rolls well. To be fair your production is top notch too mate. Sound really well balanced from where I'm sat. :!:
I enjoyed this tune a lot man - the synth progression was sounding very sad and dark and I liked the way you cut it up as well. I also liked how the song kept changing, but not too much to the point where it didn't flow - it kept me interested throughout, nice one!

damn this tune was sick! i liked how it has an ambient/atmospheric element to it while still being aggressive. the production on it is nice a clean too - could I get a 320 man?

Mmmmm, yeah man, feelin that. Only thing I'd recommend is a tiny little bit of gating on the hats to tighten them whilst keeping the swing in tact. And maybe a lttle saturation to help them cut through.

for fucks sake computer has died on me twice whilst trying to write this so im gonna be brief this time.

karmacazee: feeling this tune, second drop is wicked, computer gamey sort of noises work really well. main criticisms are that its not fat enough, and i think i spied some fuity loops samples in there too :P

mistayif: yeah was into this one... nice depth throughout, and good driving beat. i thought the 16th-hihat sort of percussiony thing was a bit relentless, would probably work better in the background. also the snare sounded a bit loose to me. nice mix though.

somatix: checked out watching our planet implode. the bass at the beginning sounded like it had too much release (the notes clashed when they changed) overall mix sounded liked it had been squashed too much, wa quite muddy and distorted, and it affected the definition of the various elements. its a shame because there were some nice ideas in there and it seemed to keep itself interesting throughout.

Did you mean Fruity samples, as in fruity loops? 'cause I'm an ableton man :!: :D Do you mean the mixdown doesn't sound fat enough, of just some elements in the track need adding to or something?

Flows very well, but I am not into that kind of hip hop so much. The drop wasn't as heavy as I thought it was going to be, maybe give it a bit more push.

Been making this one for a bit. Could be mixed a bit more, but I like where it has gone, pretty much finished with this one.

pretty sick song, only thing i can say is the bass feels like it lacks a tad bit in mid tone. otherwise mint!

the vocals are super off i feel.. the synth leading up to the build up throws the vox off. just my opinion. and i agree about to the drop. try eqing stuff to make it sit better in the mix.

Tightness, trying to get my friend to play this at his next gig hehe. Not sure if I want this or an older track to be played.

yeah meant fruityloops samples, the main kick and clap. they are very similar anyhow...

yeah the overall mix could be a bit chunkier imo, but by beefing up some of the elements (mainly the drums really) you'd be most of the way there i reckon.
