wow. lotta people goin to nights on their own

i have never done that, only turned up on my own when i know there gona be people i knoww there

WIC is big enough to get lost in, personally i dont like chillin on my own at a night tho, for little bits at a time, but not for a whole night

i guess just chat to people who look safe, the guys who hang round the corridor/toilets are always up for a laugh...

Just how big is WIC? I've looked at some photo's and the place doesn't seem that big and that it looks like a pretty standard place, two rooms.

yeah i spose it depends what clubs you're used to, i havent gone to big 1000+ clubs for a while now, but it aint spectacularly big, i reckon its jus cos they ram it so fulla people that it feels it y'know, im sure its only meant to have 800 people in it but i reckon they push 1200 sometimes, cos the smokin area is always full aswell as both rooms

always a sick night tho, top club, tbh wouldnt say the atmosphere is always that great tho, you can almost feel the tension sometimes when it gets too full but thats the only reason, my favourite little plot is by the coatroom, but always end up floatin around

dont talk to the guys by the toilets/in the corridor btw... that was just a shit joke

I prefer going with somebody, but I've been to some events alone....it's not as bad as it sounds....you still have fun, and that's all that matters.

This ain't relevant to the post but one last question about the night. Will there be a massive que to get in, say like 1-2 hours? Just so that I know how much time I need to plan ahead.

Cheers.

For all Exodus and SubDub events at the Leeds West Indian Centre, if you get there before about 11pm there will be no queue. Most people seem to arrive between 11.30pm and 12.30am when the queues can be massive, if you've got a ticket you'll probably have to wait about 30 minutes if you arrive between these times, if you haven't got a ticket then you could be waiting much longer.

id have thought it was perfectly normal to hit up a dubs night on your own, no ones gonna notice or care. think about how much time youd usually spend wandering around on your own having lost your mates or going for a piss anyway. or is that just me...
but yeah ive often found myself getting way into the deep/techy stuff while all my mates are clearly wanting to allow it and go see the wobble dj or whatever so i'd probably find it all good going to a dmz or fwd or something on my own.

You always get into the best trouble when you're on your own.

Mate, been raving nearly 20 years, been to many nights myself as most of my mates are not into electronic music. Used to travel the UK too going to parties! Never have a problem, I'm there for the tunes n to brock out not to fucking pose or whatever.

I'm very lucky if I can get anyone out to nights at all now, most mates are married and settled down, tis a nightmare!

Going to Caspa at Volume on the 23rd solo, a mate was gonna go but dropped out :/

I'm down with flying solo to shows; no one to answer to, no one to worry about picking up/bringing home, no one to keep tabs on. Just me and whatever I want to do with my time. And what do I want to do with my time?
