This isn't hardcore or metal or ska or any of that. We don't have "dances" we do at shows. It's about the music.

Skanking is basically just getting down, you get me?

I just chill and take in the music. If some people like to flail about in an epileptic fit then have at it.

Just stay away from me.

That's what he's saying. Don't think about it, just feel the music and let it take you where it takes you.

Not on this site but elsewhere, is this like skanking to ska?
Weirddd...
1. stupid question
2. NO! skanking came from the 80ies with 2 tone and the ska revival stuff... to might have been around in the 70s.

but ska dance is def. different.

and besides... fuck. move as you feel like as long as it's not mos pit style :q:

Beat me to it. Thanks fe setting the whippersnappers straight.

And as for the poster expressing distaste for Americans asking how to dance, I welcome you to come to the States and down to the ghetto and show them your kick-ass moves. Make sure to wear different shoes than the high heels you normally do tho... maybe something you can run real fast in.

:D Just takin' the piss y'all.
