start of the song really draws me in, start to get excited but then you loose me at the drop. The synth at the drop seems to have all the highs cut off? I think the thing the drop needs is a bit more enegry/ Im confuisng myself now but it does sound pretty cool so far

With this track i think the kick needs to be alot more prominent in the mix, also the clap sounds like a really stock clap. maybe you could layer it up with some other drums or add some effects or something. The synth does sound really cool though, the starts of a great track.

I know what you mean about the energy, something I been struggling with on this track. I think it needs those drums to start fully a when it drops and some other stuff to get it moving. Cheers for giving it a listen man.

anny suggestions would be much appreciated =)

digging it so far, i'd suggest some variations in the bass sound here and there midrange wise

First great bass, the melody here is super fun to listen but maybe you should change it from time to time. Maybe have a second pattern alongside your first pattern just to make is less repetitive, or simply change to a lower octave at some point in the tune or anything that could make it sound different.
Otherwise I can see where it could be when it's going to be finished.
Cheers !

IMO this track definitely needs something more than just the bassline to take the energy build from the drop. The song completely deflates in its current state, I'd play around with some drums -- mainly a really hard hitting snare and subtle roll of some ancillary percs.

I agree, for this one definitely add in another pattern or two for the melody...maybe play with the quantization of the notes too. Your drums are processed very well, but theres something to be desired in their current state...for me drums really need to carry the energy of the song and keep the listener intrigued with their own variation if the bassline is going to be that static.

You do a very fine job of building a soundscape here initially, for the style of song you're after you may want to play with extremely long (1 minute plus) progressions of the pads. Or slowly automate other pads in and out.
