Mohan where abouts in the Punjab where you?

I've only been to Amritsar.

Those photos where taken about half an hours drive outside of Amritsar in my fathers ancestral village (Bhakna), between the city and the Pakistan border.I was mainly staying in Amritsar though.

My dad always told me that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sohan_Singh_Bhakna this dude was a distant relative but apparently that's a total lie.

I take it yall hit up the golden temple. Man i got told off for holding my lasses hand in there cos women are meant to go separate to men init, lol. My dads family are gujurati but he was born kenya, i only really saw ahmedabad though and that was for one night waiting for a train.




I just wrote a paper for uni assignment with this subject:

"The sub-culture of graffiti art aimed to make minorities culturally visible. Do you think the mainstreaming of such a sub-culture (i.e. it has become gallery friendly) means that it is successful?"

I think i did a good job, it took a while and now i feel like sharing it, hahahaha.
