this is true, but the antisocial nature of this extreme side of jump up doesnt help either.

problem is, with the powers old bill have now, if dubstep continues to get a bad name thanks to these little pratts, more and more events will get locked off due to 'safety fears'.
I think we have a long way to go before we see the kind of reaction from police that we saw with the London Garage scene in the early 2000s. Guaranteed these youts would have turned up if the event had been Garage, Grime or Drum and Bass, the key element in my opinion is the over 16+ door policy. I would be interested to know the ages of the people involved in the instances of violence, i'd hazard a guess that they would be too young to get into DMZ.
its really not very hard to get into dmz underage, all you need is a pretty shit fake id

Which reiterates my point that this is not a dubstep problem.

Never ever come across it over here in Aus either. From memory, BZP (think it's BZP can't remember) a sort of MDMA immitater persay is legal in the UK, henceforth ecstacy has pretty much died in the ass. Therefore i'm assuming people have turned to other drugs and mephedrone emerged as a result?

never heard of that beyond reading about it online. Definitely not popular where I'm at.

What is popular around here is khat. Anyone heard of it? apparently it's not a controlled substance in the UK.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khat

anyway that's fucked up about this event. Shame.

We don't see meph in the US because most of the big drugs are cheap as shit in the US.

Plus we have a much more dominate RX black market.

MDMA came back at the beginning of the year, but too late to stop Mephadrone becoming the drug of choice for teenagers, mainly down to it being easily available by ordering online. BZP was outlawed a couple of months back.

The same ingredient as what's in Khat is in Mephedrone, which I only found out the other day, and which is also utterly disgusting as people in parts of Africa living in total poverty grow the Khat plants to get by. Rough tings a gwan.
