Volcano in Iceland

Post by DRTY » Thu Apr 15, 2010 10:15 am

Has gone off and almost all flights from and to the UK are cancelled! Where I am (south UK) I cant see any smoke, I feel somewhat left out.

Hopefully there's gonna be some cool aerial pics of it.

Our press officer is on holiday at the moment and so my phone hasn't stopped ringing.

I've just sorted out interviews for BBC Mercia (who?), the Telegraph and BBC Look North.

One of my friends fb status' just now was something along the lines of:-

The Nortern Line is delayed due to volcanic eruption in Iceland.

Not sure if this is 100% true, but she isnt the kind to make things up usually.
