explore the 3xosc

automation is your friend

as are the LFOs

also route to bare effects

extrememly powerful

lfo to filter cut off. Or for extreme wobble lfo to main pitch! The fruity synths are all good to learn on, but i recommend getting something better and more powerful when you get the hang of things.

You could bounce some standard tones out of Fruity using the 3xosc or ts404 as your sound source. Then you could load them up into an audio editor like Audacity, and distort them using free VST distortion effects off the net.

Finally, you could load these newly distorted samples back into Fruity and go wild redistortiong them and using automation..........!! :)

Ps, I think vanilla 3xOsc and TS404 is plop, even with automation..... :( (IMHO)

How could I forget, grab yourself some free VST synths from KVRaudio.com and use those instead of the bundled Fruity synths!

Triangle 2 is a good subtractive virtual analogue synth. Good for warm VA style pads & basses.

Sinthecyza! is a good phase distortion synth capable of chucking out some truely wonderful hoover sounds. :D

Visit http://www.amvst.com/index.php to find some sick wavetable & phase distortion synths for free!

Bare in mind that any synth with a low pass filter can chuck out a wobble, but most standard wobbles are boring as fuck..... (IMO).....

So get some freebee vst synths, and grab some distortion/lofi/mangling vst effects, and read the fucking manuals! :)

TS404 is not a versatile piece of synth imho, it has its own character but it ever sounds much sine-like (not too many harmonics and so). 3xOsc needs to be tweaked hard but can give you great sounds, its a good allrounder. Of course:
1.Filter
2.Distort
3.Back to step 1
