INTRODUCING ORCA RECORDINGS 001 - X.I. / Headhunter

ORCA RECORDINGS

Orca Recordings is a new vinyl and digital based record label operating out of North London, with distribution through Baked Goods.

The label is set to document the style and variety of forward-thinking artists who are influenced by, but not restricted to, the many strands of UK bass music.

The first release is by Toronto based producer XI, with Headhunter on the controls for the remix. The original carries all the heat for a dancefloor work out. The remix is on a stripped back Loefah-esque tip.

Strong DJ support has come from across the board, and includes: Mary Anne Hobbs, Loefah, Youngsta, Icicle, Hatcha, Appleblim, Hyetal amongst many more..

In addition to this, Orca has forthcoming material from Hyetal, Luke.Envoy and Asusu.

Release Date: 24th May 2010
