ok im really digging this tune as i type but that tick tick snare is a bit loud and the main snare does not have enough presence until like 2:48 or until that tick tick goes away other then that i dig the fuck out of this tunejoekool wrote:nice one on the milli remix!! it defo needs to be mixed down quite a bit, there's a lot of weird stuff going on there, but the melody line and the riddim are rock solid. might suggest using some different drums? the second one keeps glitching out, my connection is wack, so i'll give it more of a listen later.
the breaks are awesome and the shuffle is serious. i would say that the main problem with the mid bassline is that its way too stereo. put it in mono and see how it feels. also, put some subs under it man! make they speakers flexfive-ohh-what wrote:just reworked this i think its finished now what yall thinkfive-ohh-what wrote:ok so i have a new one im working on still needs a good mixdown and i have not decided on weither or not to use a vocal prolly gonna add some incidentals just wanting to know if it sounds shitalso which drop should be first Soundcloud![]()
ok so i went and added a stereo shaper to the bass line o my wow but no they are super loud and i have to go through and remix down the whole thing but thank you for giving me a serious piece my games has been lacking

I like the variation, things sound a bit squashed at times, maybe give a little more room to breathe.Sidestepuk wrote:Just started this, come to a bit of a stop. Any feedback, ideas, things to add/takeaway would be great. Also ideas for a sample? Thanks
Also there is no sub bass for the second half of the song, so ignore that..

Im really fond of this, I feel that kick is possibly causing a bit of trouble on the lower end, that dispertion tail it has (to me, this is subjective) feels it muddys the rest of the frequencies in that band. Possibly just a nice clean, LP'd kick.
my last edit before finishing and mixdown.

It's probably had my best production quality so far so..feedback always welcomed.

People should be reminded that for this to work, feedback needs to go both ways.

I see what you mean about it being benga-ish, lovley rhythms. Id say those ghosty snares could do with a bit more variation in their velocity to give them a bit more realism? or something like that. Also the track could maybe do witha touch more high end. But yeah, cool trackDepone wrote:Wow man, really benga-ish!Astral wrote: my last edit before finishing and mixdown.

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for APRIL, 2010
The chords are really nice, but maybe a tad repatative?! Possibly room for some more variation in that aspect. The drums and percussion sound lovley and punchy, the whole mix seems to sit really well. Loving the way you space it out at 1:20 ish. Fresh vibes sir, looking forward to hearing more.
