I used to be big into gabba and terror/speedcore about 10 years back or so, and in the speedcore scene extratone was always made fun of. There was some Canadian guy who used to wear a wolf mask, and he would throw extratone parties where it would be literally just him and the club owner in a room. There are pics out there somewhere, and eventually whole releases came out dissing this guy. Can't remember his name. I want to say Michael Jakartas or something. I'd try to dig up some old stuff but sadly most of those forums and stuff are long since abandoned.

^^That's pretty damn funny to be honest

My mate knows a couple guys who managed to empty an entire full venue in Exeter by playing a set of Japanese gabber.

Using the names Crabbio and Goochrider I think.

I'm more mainstream with my gabber... Omar Santana, Lenny D, Rodney Balai, Froncois Prijt, and Edwin Van Santen (Good friend of mine from the c64 days.. sadly he passed away back in 2006)

people just don't understand

speed does not = hardness.

look at doom/sludge metal, that style of metal is HARD. it's not exactly going at thrash speed. so even metalheads got it wrong.

why do u presume extratone producers think there music is hard because they produce at these high speeds ?
