New Member, New Track

Post by gr0nt » Mon Mar 29, 2010 10:37 pm

Hello everyone!

I've been trying to produce my own tracks for almost 12 years now. Mostly chillout all those years, and always wanted to do harder music, but could never get the hang of it. *Then* I discovered dubstep about 9 months ago. For me it was the perfect genre. Fits my personality perfect, slow, hard and heavy. So since then, I've turned my hand to dubstep production, I absolutely love the sound. This is approximately my fourth dubstep track I've produced. Please listen and give your criticisms.

Special thanks to Macc, whos mixing thread contributed greatly to the vibe of this song. My music has reached a-whole-notha level because of you. Big props.

The tracks not done quite yet, just wanted to introduce myself and get my name out there.

Any questions, just ask!

Thanks! gr0nt

also, i dont know how to embed the track directly into the thread. if someone could point me in the right direction... pretty sad considering im majoring in CS/EE...

apparently it takes some time for the track to go "live". I uploaded a 320 and it said it wanted to convert to 128.

yeah man i like this maybe a bit to much noise on the sine sub at the beginning, nice melody and oscilation. woah didnt expect the heaviness at 0:55, i love the crazy effects and phasing sounds, maybe try some ping pong panning? nice tune reminds me of a more bouncy datsik. would like to hear your other sond and works in progress. send me 320s here http://soundcloud.com/1stfiest/dropbox or here 1stfiest@googlemail.com
