strange little dubby techno through to dubstep mix

Post by sandman » Wed Apr 21, 2010 9:13 am

I'm trying to get back into mixing but with no nights to play at I find I start mixing, try a few rediculous mixes, get bored and go back to sky sports news. I've always had a good response from this forum despite not being a strictly dubstep fan so thought I'd get into the habit of recording mixes and putting them online as a way of keeping the mixing fire burning. 8)

This is a pretty odd mix starting of with modern classical, some dubby techno and a very ramadanman influenced dubstep 2nd half(how good is his new albulm!). I've tried to give all the tracks lots of space and build tension throughout the mix to try and give it a sense of purpose. Any and all thoughts and comments much appreciated. :t:

Outstanding, I'm on my second listen. Real care and attention paid to creating a mood and building on it. Mixes this good never get old.

Awesome, thanks man, that's made my day! Listening to yours now; the madlib tune on the intro is brilliant!
