If you ask me that's better than getting kicked out.
Besides that:
One of my friends got kicked out of a venue one time because he was "dancing too hard"![]()
How the fuck can you dance too hard?

Re: venues?
generally in the clubs i go to here in the states, specifically texas, the dress code is really lax. i have never seen someone turned down trying to get in based on what they were wearing
but again, most people know to show up to a club looking somewhat decent.
also, i have never been searched or frisked or whatev when going to a dubstep show,
only been searched on the occasional visits to the raves, and that was only ONE time (been to about 5 so far)
police are usually no where to be found, or there will be one sitting at the bar for half the show, realize nothing is going to happen, and go home.
generally shows are 18+, some 21+, i have even seen some all ages events or shows that were 16+ or 17+

Re: venues?
all of the "regular" denver dubstep venues are insanely relaxed... like what the guy above me said, you can light up and not have any issues. never seen a dress code and most of the shows are 18+ (though i wish they were 21+ for guys and 18+ for girls)

but its a pretty cool place, been here for the last 15 years
the edm scene isnt nearly as big as in alot of other places,
but dubstep is starting to get more popular
we've had some big producers swing through here, quite to my amazement actually.
i saw 16bit a few months ago, got to kick it with eddie after the show, pretty cool dude.
rusko makes his stops over here on occasion as well, havnt been to see him yet.
and excision will be here next month

Re: venues?
I went to the last rusko show
I'm not too worried about the scene...
I can always go chill with the ATX crew if I need to see a show
but there's always Dub Assembly
