Re: Your Greatest Live Performances
If we're talking live acts i'd say underworld @ Brixton academy 2008 and London elektricity @ the Scala 2005 were simply epic

Re: Your Greatest Live Performances
My greatest live performance was Aphex Twin + Hecker last year on Dour with a 3D-sound surrounding, it was huuuuge.

Guitar Wolf, Merzbow, Autechre, Converge and Amon Tobin at Dour 2007.

Come now. It's good listening to a point, before he decides to ditch messing about with sounds and just continuously smash white noise.deepfiend wrote:Merzbow

Aww I thought this was for personal tales
I have an ace one from when I did music for a few months at A level and had to play a formal xmas concert for a load of poshies but got distracted by a girl and a few pubs
Anyway for other band gigs, was a pretty special night mixing Cannibal Corpse with K holes

Re: Your Greatest Live Performances
I saw a sex show in the 'Dam. Some huge black dude was fucking some girl missionary on a circular bed. Suddenly the music dropped and the bed started rotating with him springing off the bed, getting about a foot of air before thrusting down into her, all in time to the music. Needless to say I just sat there with my mouth open, hash cake crumbs falling out everywhere.

They were brilliant. The pyramid stage show is amazing. I saw them at 02 Wireless festival. I was at the leeds one though. Was on the front row, off my face on pills.singlepoint wrote:just good? i would expect nothing short of brilliance!Motorway to Roswell wrote:Daft Punk are good live.

Wolves In The Throne Room? Ulver? Electric Wizard? Agalloch? The Jesus Lizard, Harvey Milk & Grails? Insect Warfare? Absu? Dead Congregation? Eluvium & Explosions in the Sky? Nadja? That would have to be it, but not in that order. Its too hard to decide. All where incredible. Although Ulver & EitS would probably come at the top.

he's a badman! I saw him when I was like 15 or 16 (on my birthday none the less) and his beatboxing was bassier than JS-1's vinyl selection...that's insane really when you think about it. Rahzel dubstep would be fucking immense!j-one wrote:Saw Rahzel at Matter... went for Jehst/Mical Parknsun and Raekwon. Them and that set are the reason I started making music to play live.
