This stuff is fun and a bit more upbeat, would be great to liven up a dubstep party before whacking on the techno. Shit bit is I can't find enough tunes to even begin to put together a set.

well i've heard plenty of techno in that same style, there's a shitload of different sounding techno out there. what don't you like about the kick?
it's just a very FruityLoops default drum machine sound.
and for the techno comment...it's not something i can really describe. i don't claim to be an authority on techno, i probably only have about techno 100 records, but it just doesn't remind me anything of techno. industrial dance? maybe...
don't mean to be an ass, just something that kind of bugged me.
