Swindle and Terror Danjah are two of my favourite producers at the moment. The grime lot are doing big things. Butterz show is definately the best place for new music (for me) on radio

Re: Swindle (Actually dubstep?)
duno wot i'd call it
wouldnt call it dubstep OR grime...
grime (for me personaly) needs some sort of energy to be grime, i used to prefer grime with the 2step drum patterns n the hard b-lines n synths
terror danjah is a badboy from day...anyone remember "the flies"?
big tune!!

Re: Swindle (Actually dubstep?)

Re: Swindle (Actually dubstep?)
I'd say it's Grime but with a Swindle twist
Swindle is don, watch out for Mr. Mitch as well coming with some next sound.

I'd say Grime. His last EP (Who Said Funk) was more of a Funky vibe, and this has dubstep/grime/Hip Hop influences. It's just UK Bass Music. I prefer that term.
I don't turn on Korn to get it on, I be playin Digi Mystikz 'til the dawn

This this this. Elijah & Skilliam are must listens. They did a fact mix a month or so ago which absolutely smashed. I got a mix off Elijahs Twitter the other day I'd forgotten about until just now...I'll be banging that on now.HRKRT wrote:dubloke wrote:Swindle and Terror Danjah are two of my favourite producers at the moment. 'Grime' is gonna be coming stronger this year than it has recently I feel....Dunno why, but soooooo many top producers coming through! (Actually, people like - especially - Elijah & Skllliam and Spyro (and others) who play tracks by new artists are to thank for that..).

Re: Swindle (Actually dubstep?)
yea it is a new sound pretty much, loving swindle at the minute. nothing beats his melodies. along with src and mr mitch who are key guys in this new sound that elijah and skilliam have been pushing.
and i agree, the stuff elijah and skilliam are playing is like grime, but its a new type of grime. Got much respect for the boys theyve been keeping at it and now they are leading brand new movement which will be huge soon.
its not grime, its BUTTERZ grime.
