My fucking college won't let me take classes in music technology because I am an art major. did a set last night as a favour to a mate, was in a large pub with 2 floors. I was on bar level, with a Dnb room below.
I was on for 1.5 hours... which i was well up for... and it was the worst of my life. our system was ok, but downstairs they had something like 4k, which in a pub of all things was pretty fucking loud... so i start, 4th track in, Ramadanman - Humber, the needle literally skips across the whole record due to the bass from downstairs!! and that was it. 1.5 hours of agony, sounding like i was constantly clanging due to the fact the system downstairs was overpowering us to say the least... busy to... and i scratched footcrab trying to stop the needle jumping yet again.
