We're absolutely delighted to announce the return of Joy Orbison for his first Bristol show since we unleashed him on an unsuspecting Thekla last July. In the past nine months, via a barrage of stunning technicolour soundscapes that have found their way into the sets of pretty much everyone in dance music, Mr. O'Grady has risen to international acclaim.
In support, we're thrilled to present a long-overdue Crazylegs debut for one of Bristol's true heroes: Punch Drunk and Rooted records bossman Peverelist. With label and shop flourishing, and toting a freshly released album in the form of 2009's mystically deep Jarvik Mindstate LP, Pev is firing right now, as his set will attest.
And we'd like to introduce to you a young man who you'll be hearing a lot more of in 2010, in the run up to a Planet Mu release and a new show on BBC 1Xtra, Swindle.
