What are you talking about? They've been bringing great artists lately. Shackleton and Appleblim in particular were fantastic. Wish I coulda seen KMinds. :(
Friend of mine went though, and said it was one of the best nights he's had in ages.

They've been bringing absolutely fantastic artists now for near 3years now.. void is quality control. goth trad, loefah, silkie, truth, cotti, the others, rusko, etc etc... they have a fantastic list of djs that they've hosted, catering to a wide variety of dubstep sounds and styles. Goth trad again in july i hear :!: and kutz in a few months, always big things at void.

as far as im aware Void promotes music artists they like and that people need to hear, be it branded dubstep or not. If a particular artist is in the country and not playing Void i reckon you dont need to genius to know why.

Excision was here in October, as was Antiserum
Droid Sector in March
We also had Reso in August, and Seven last April

Plus you get Sook and myself on the reg who play pretty heavy (plus have a shitload of tunes that only a handful of people in Australia have) but try and put a bit more thought in our sets rather than just straight samebass wobble bangers. You've also got Phonetic System who's been playing some pretty heavy stuff, including alot of his own productions. Come along to a Low Society night if you want some heavy stuff, James Daak (Double Robin) usually plays some pretty heavy wobbly stuff plus Distemper who bangs it out proper. Don't need to have international artists to have a quality dubstep night in Sydney, the locals are doing just fine :D

Void do a bang up job of bringing through quality artists on a regular basis and Kryptic Minds was probably the best dubstep set I've ever seen. No nonsense dark deep incredible music.
