Whilst I've got this, and it is a good video, isn't uploading the CM videos copyright issue or something?

Dunno man, maybe? If Vimeo has a fair use policy then I think its ok to upload stuff if its intended for reviewing (same as YouTube)

Christ that guy has so much going on its amazing, must be a mixing wizard and a helluva musician.
Would love that cello/violin/whatever in the orchestra synthesizer hes got there.
Awesome song by him is "Recurring" as well

So many valuable lessons in that little piece of video.
The emphasis from him seems to be feeling your way, without knowing, and experimenting with different sounds to make a whole.
It''s got to be about self-discovery as much as anything else and I think he conveys that quite well.
I love how loose and un-qauntized his beats and sampling are! So many people I know make such rigid electronic music with no flair or energy. It's much more fun when you can throw things around a bit and play with timing.
