The sound I'm talking about starts at about 14 seconds into the track and then remains constant. It is very subtle yet pleasing to the ear and adds a lot to the track. Any idea/tips on how to achieve this sort of sound? Much appreciated, cheers.
How does one go about making this sort of background pad?

Re: How does one go about making this sort of background pad?
yeah, rverse any string...
filtr a bit...
Something like leading melody in this, but more subtle right?
Soundcloud
High plucks on a guitar, reverse, stretch, filter, adsr envelopes, resample, ect.
In that just wrote melody played notes in wrong order recordd reversed so they were in right...
But for pads youll only need a couple single plucks.
