Check out acidplanet.com for ACID users, I think they have new sample packs/rmx contests etc. almost weekly. Search online for free stuff also, a ton of great stuff out there. And stuff.

Try searching freesounds on google, they got a nice package of nearly everything. Google search is basically what you need at the moment and there is pretty good stuff out there. Here's one if found one the spot : http://www.drumsamples.org/ (And remember your files doesn't need to be ACID type only).

You don't need "acid loops" type stuff, just any samples will do. Better question is why on earth are you using acid?

daw doesnt make the producer
rusko dominates in acid
Re: Acid Pro needs SAMPLES/PACKS etc.
Beg to differ, but if daw is unimportant, why not use a full featured daw?deadly habit wrote:rusko dominates in acid
Leaving that, ultimately, I don't think that the daw is absolutely transparent in the final work. The way and manner that you work leaves traces in the work you produce, bottom line.
If homie is using acid only because he saw it in a video, I would suggest that he think and maybe do a bit more research before jumping in. Just a thought.

dont hate on acid fam its a great sequencer. midi is shite but i never use it for that... i export basslines from reason and import them into acid.nowaysj wrote:You don't need "acid loops" type stuff, just any samples will do. Better question is why on earth are you using acid?
still its so easy to get nice levels and a good mix with acid though. so shut your mout init blud.
Re: Acid Pro needs SAMPLES/PACKS etc.
i used to use Acid all the time for mixing and chopping cause FL sucked with the pattern blocks and no automation clips in the playlist for the longest time. the chopper is also very nice and plenty of people who write jungle still use Acid. i'd still use it if FL didn't implement Acid's workflow and if Acid had a step sequencer that i could actually find. but yeah...Acid is more loop based. You need to have a sample library of wavs ahead of time.

The midi is weak sauce. Think that removes it from the full featured category.deadly habit wrote:it is a fully featured daw
