Autechre - Second Peng (Threnody RMX) - Version 2
I've just put the finishing touches to this remix...the original remix was well received over in the production forum(http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.p ... t=thren%2A), since then i've supercharged it with some glitched out FX and some other bits.
This forms part one of the UK Trends remix series...please check the news section at http://www.uktrendsmusic.co.uk for more info and future remixes in the series.

not a bad rmx... it doesn't sound together though imho.
i only say that because the original is one of my favorite tracks off that tri repetae++ 2xCD, and it sounds like you kind of just took your beats and played them with the original, as opposed to really remixing it...
not bad though, i love the noise you brought into it.

cheers Khal.
Yeah i stayed quite faithful to the beats in the original...kept the same beat infact. Really when it started it was just a little refix for a mix i was doing coz the structure of the original second peng didn't really suit a mix environment (kind of more progressive without a real drop etc...) so i shortened it from 10 mins and stuck some sub underneath. Things evolved more when i started glitching it....although the melodies/beats are similar it was painstaking reconstruction (especially on the melody which was all created from a single note from the original)
Glad you like the noise
