For May's edition of Stay Plastic we have a propa badaman in our basement, Rinse FM's king of rudeness ROSKA! Yes that's correct the godfather of UK Funky will be playing what would be classed as a very intimate gig for a man of his ever growing stature. Taking the London scene by storm back in 2007 with what has to be one of the earliest incarnations of Funky with his minimal yet jacking underground classic Feline, he has went on to become one of the scenes shining lights and the go to guy for a quality remix. His Roska Kicks & Snares EP's are basically unavailable the minute they come out due to the demand and his list of remixes reads like a who's who of the most up to date and well informed producers in the business including Untold, Four-Tet, Mosca, Martyn and Ghosts On Tape.


2010 is proving to be a very big year for the south Londoner with gig's at big festivals such as Sonar and Bloc (by far and away the best thing we saw) and the release of his album "Rinse Presents Roska" not to mention a US tour he's certainly been a busy boy. On the night expect House, Funky, Garage, Dubstep or anything he could edit or remix and put that sample of his name over, YASS!! And if you just can't wait to see him in the flesh, get a taste of what’s to come with his regular Rinse FM podcasts.

Re-scheduled from his February date, Jackmaster will be assisting Roska to dish out the face melters.
