I just love the whole range of 125-140bpm bass music that's spawned from this whole thing. All the new funky, house and 130bpm+ garage that's emerging is wonderful.

to me, future garage is the very begining of dubstep, revisted. it's cool to give it a new name and all, but for those of us who've been listening to edm for over 20 years, it doesn't make it different music to just give it a new name

here's my favortite dubstep track. its closer to 130 than 140 but it was one of the earliest dubstep releases... sounds like "future garage" to me, lol

go on here to download truck loads of grime legally,theres even a mr slash ep on there,50 dot rotten instrumentals....bare stuff
its really hard to find grime instrumentals,as they never get vinyl releases :-/ and itunes doesnt have mr slashes stuff anymore

i play UKG, bassline, hip hop, dubstep, FG, UKF , grime, tropical and whatever you call it in a set when i play... dubstep is just a type of garage, future garage is as well, so whatever. burial is who comes to mind when i hear the word future garage, but to me he's dubstep. both are silly names really, *shrug* you say potato, i say potahto

i like it all now, as the genre developed, my taste has changed. but ive always loved that sort of dubstep that you could lay alone in your room listening to making it feel like you're driving down a lonesome road in heavy rain. really emotional shit.

got into dubstep in 2005, during the dark halfstep era. none of the current stuff really does it for me. the DMZ 3x12" will probably be one of the last dubstep releases i'll ever buy tbh, if things stay the way they are.

funky and footwork/juke is the future.
