to me, future garage is the very begining of dubstep, revisted. it's cool to give it a new name and all, but for those of us who've been listening to edm for over 20 years, it doesn't make it different music to just give it a new name
here's my favortite dubstep track. its closer to 130 than 140 but it was one of the earliest dubstep releases... sounds like "future garage" to me, lol
as Shakespeare once asked: is a rose by any other name just as sweet?
i understand the concept, and was one of the first people on the FGF, however genre names are subjective, so we'll have to agree to disagree. 90% of the dubstep i play has either a 2step or house beat... go figurefeasible_weasel wrote:i pressed video twice....fractal wrote:

their a producers coming up,who are making their stuff who dont make dubstep, and people coming back to 2step who used to make it....again future garage,is 2step....but the melodies are more inline with dark garage and some darker dubstep....

in a future garage set,so its basically 2step with other elements,u can play bassline and 4 x4 as its garage..fractal wrote:i understand the concept, and was one of the first people on the FGF, however genre names are subjective, so we'll have to agree to disagree. 90% of the dubstep i play has either a 2step or house beat... go figurefeasible_weasel wrote:i pressed video twice....fractal wrote:

I mentioned them, but they said they are not garage :Iseckle wrote:where is Horsepower Productions in this thread? If they're not mentioned straight away then we're up shits creek as a sound or scene.
