Actually, I pride myself on making deals, so I've really spend way less than the sum. For instance, I found a guy near me who wanted to trade his APC40 for a Novation Launchpad. I quickly found a coupon for a local dealer, picked one up for 25% off and traded. I picked up my Micromoog for $50. I found a Boss VT-1 voice processor on my local Craigslist for $100.
