hello i was wondering what you guys do to vocals to like make them sound choppy and stuff... like how would you build up vocals on a drop buildup etc? i know about reverb but the delays so it repeats itself like a snip of it if im not explaining what i mean well enough say
but hopefully you get the jist

it really depends on what you want.. chop it up & spread out the sections for a stutter effect. im not sure what you mean though, have you got an example?

Vox in my sig breakdown (click mid-point) was done with Deep Reconstructions (granulizer, pitch shift, and panning). Native Instruments has some powerful tools if you know when and how to apply them. Look into it...tripaddict wrote:granulizer

Automate Ableton Live's beat repeat effect (if that's the sequencer you use)
