Anyone know of any cool glitchy, dark sounds along these lines of these artists.
Or what I should even search for?

Re: Burial/Vex'd style samples
I am guessing they didnt get them from a pack found on a 'dubstep' forum.inFormant wrote:Anyone know of any cool glitchy, dark sounds along these lines of these artists.

If I were them I would prob find some weird shit and add reverb, delay and then filter.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.
Re: Burial/Vex'd style samples
ye just get a sample of something, time stretch it, reverb it, delay it, do anything you want to it.
Re: Burial/Vex'd style samples
Do you mean the percussion or the pads?
For percussion: sample doors closing, keys unlocking, swords colliding, etc...
For pads: use your own ears and synths & low pass a lot.
All the ambient moans, pads, explosions, etc in this, are not samples, they're self-made on a keyboard:
Soundcloud
I side-chained rain from Croutching Tiger Hidden Draggon in this one to create the under rhythm:
Soundcloud
Just be creative and keep at it until you can make the sound in your head.
