Wisp Appreciation

Post by vishnu » Wed May 19, 2010 8:36 am

Seriously one of the most underrated artists from the states..

If you haven't heard of him check out his back catalog of free releases.. http://www.wisp.kaen.org/

His new album 'We Miss You' is nothing short of brilliant, no wonder Richard D James signed him to Rephlex

Anyone that can make music like this in FL is a lord!

Katabatic is a great EP. rinsed that vinyl when it came out.

Wisp playing live is one of the most beautiful sounds available to the human ear.

Lyftgeswenced... and I recommended you to check out the Honor Beats record.

His stuff reminds me of the more jungly side of Mouse On Mars.

yes Honor Beats is a good album

great thing about wisp is his diversity in genres, yet you can still tell it's RW Dunn by the synths

Sorry, am on a pair of too expensive headphones that I just don't trust.

Is the murky sound in these three clips part of the aesthetic or are they just bad youtube clips?
