@kontigobeats - Nice man, I've used these vox in a tune myself ;) (http://www.soundcloud.com/j-one/heaven-sent). Really like the synths and melodies in this though and you didn't over use the vocal samples. Big tune.

@drdeft - As others have said I'm not a massive fan of the wobblez, but the tunes got nuff rhythm, really feeling the drums and I like the occassional 8bit synthy sounds. Down to personal taste but I think a fat sub would do so much more for this than the midrange.

@Hooky - Not my usual cup of tea but respect for this, tune would definitely go off. Love the hi pitched bits, second drop is big.

Got a tune that's pretty much finished in the sig, but always open to suggestions. Safe!

Was bored this morning and ended up with this by the time I was done. Still a WIP. I'm thinking about adding a backing melody or 2 to the one I have in there. Still need to get the kick and snares to come out a bit more but I didn't have enough time to get that done today.

[edit]: My bad, this should have gone into the WIP thread. I forgot I was in this thread when I clicked reply. Gotta love not getting very much sleep.

Thanks for the feedback ( liking your version too, interesting to hear other people's takes on the same samples!) and to everyone else! So im thinking of sending it of to get mixed as it is, its hard to decide when a tune is finished or not! do you guys think anything is missing? should i change it up a bit in the 2nd half or does it keep your attention still?

@j-one, the drums and percussion in that track of yours are real nice!
not much to criticise really, is a nice back tune! only thing just my preference would be maybe not put in the ah ah vocals as often as they are, big track though!

@JBE Yea this is nice too man, some nice deep vibes, that vocal fits real nice! but yea as you said i would suggest bringing out the drums but apart from that its nice, would like a copy of this when its done!

@ People who commented me, thanks :)

I did think the intro was a bit shitty but a few people encouraged me to keep it.

Death metal dubstep was most certainly my aim, having played bass for a few death/prog metal bands before I got into production.

Thanks again!

Peace :)

@urbannerd62 i liked dont hate the playa a lot, really good sounds and funny sample, but i'm listening on my sub and the drums seem a little low. other than that sounds good though.

@claystone i liked the glitchiness at first but when the lead dropped i wasnt feelin it too much, wasnt bad idk guess it's just not my style keep on keepin on though dog

@j-one very nice vibe you got going there, chilled out just like i like it, nice sample too a woman's voice is always a good choice and of course i love the sub bass. very nice track man :e:

im gonna go to sleep now but i'll give more feedback to others tomorrow. i'd really appreciate some feedback on the tune in my sig, i fixed it up a little bit so hopefully i could get some criticism on it. later folks :t:
a future garage track i cooked up, feedback appreciated.

Love the rolling synth work, beats sounding nice and crisp. It all seems to roll well, even though the bass changes up and keeps you locked, don't think it ever sounds out of place. Top notch.

This song has emotion, moving stuff. Love the use of the sample. Only thing is, even though I can probably guess the whole aim of the song is just this, it seems a little slow. I'd have maybe added some reverbed claps over the snares towards the end of the tune, give it a bigger sound. Not sure about the melody idea, it seems pretty hot to me, overall quality track.

[edit: listened to it a few times, this is a seriously hot track, keep this shit up my friend, you've got a new follower on soundcloud!]

I don't hate it. But I don't love it. The main wob seems lazy (not how, just the way it sounds) which isn't always my cup of tea unless the bass goes with it, and it doesn't seem to go places. It's a head bobber for sure, but maybe switch it up every 16 bars, just a tad, change up some hi hats or something.

Annd now for my tracks, basically anything you want to listen to in the player - http://soundcloud.com/danky
Usually post in Dubs, but it's a ghost town in there, so I thought I'd come see what y'all are saying :D

This is my first real attempt at making dubstep. I have previously played around with hip-hop production but that that genre seems to lack something that dubstep offers, and for some reason I find dubstep a lot more fun to make. I really want to dedicate myself to making it full-time, and I'd appreciate honest constructive criticim. Thanks

I've just finally signed up to this forum, been following this thread for a bit among others, and there is some great talented producers old & young on here :)

@urbanner62d phat, heavy track mate and nice full bodied sound, liking it

@FSTZ; I love the use of the garage style bass on that, pretty funky track overall. I don't hate it!

@reignz; very on point track mate, nice thick production, nice jumpy rhythms and like the quality of the keys :D

@MAD_ECO; you're definitely on to something if that really is your first track.. obviously with a nice bit of mixing to fill it out that would be a tasty number, just the problem is the bass could do with a bit of thickening out with a sub under it, especially when the effect that comes in @1.50 on the wobble thins it out a bit so slap some subs in there to fatten it up and add more energy and you've got yourself a banger! Keep it up mate :)

@john_nada; awesome track mate, like that a lot, it's heavy without going too mental thanks to that thuddy distorted bass and the dirgey atmosphere. NIce one. :)

here's one of my latest tracks, I'm very new to production.. so be kind :?
