I think the ghost of king tubby would appreciate the genre he contributed to being associated with dubstep, since dubstep has much influence from dub. Although king tubby would turn in his grave knowing what young rusko is getting up to. Bless his soul.. r.i.p king tubby..

this thread's got LEGS! it's pretty funny that people have such opinions about it. for real, the dude prob got offered a ridiculous amount of money - who would seriously turn it down? is your "integrity" worth that much? obviously people are just sick of the way Rusko's music is going, which is fine, but there's no point smashing a guy for getting paid. if anything, let's talk about his haircut.
He said: Try scan no thing three-card dead fly man go for bling he got bled I jam over sting see spots red, I am...

He'll probably just watch over a few songs, I doubt we'll be hearing Britney sing over Woo Boost stuff. The Rihanna tracks are hardly usual C&S material.

don't get your knickers in a twist, but when people refer to dubstep as dub online, others who read their post are going to assume they have no idea what they are talking about since they are two totally different genres and the dub in dubstep has NOTHING to do with dub reggae...
also in response to your post about how i only listen to pop and you only listen to dubstep,
I listen to everything, to only listen to one style of music is boring to me. also, to discount music just because it's pop is idiotic and stopped being "cool" over here in the late 90's
i still love you tho
just tired of the "fill in the blank" is going to ruin dubstep or make it commercial... get over yourselves!! it's just music and people are going to do things with it that you don't like. make the conscious discussion to be a positive, constructive person who builds things they like instead of tear down things they hate... or just keep crying on the web

So true.
Not sure where all the stuck up people came from to be honest. trying to protect their knowledge of the underground, which lets face it doesnt exist anymore, died out with the growth of the internet. no more dark alley vinyl shopping to get the latest sounds. just click of the mouse.
I'm sorry officer, but I'm suffering from "miscalculated miles an hour" disease so I am unable to comply with your regulations.

You cant be serious, anyone can get the latest tracks now, not like 10 years ago or more, thats why dusbtep has spread so fast to a point where it took d+b or garage for example a lot longer. Dont worry, I like the underground as much as next man, its just a fact, that there isnt so much of one now. as soon as a tracks out, its online for sale in mp3

he likes to make vague posts about nothing, i wouldn't look too much into it. i said quit crying about things you can't control on the internet and he responded with "the underground is ex internet"

I know that but I associate Rhianna with America due to the chronic exposure she gets there and the stylistic production similarities of previous material to what comes over here from there (ask the average person and i bet they say she's from america!) I quite like the mix of her new single Ti-amo or whatever it's called: flamenco guitar, euro-trance synth-stabs and bongos!!!
And yeah wasn't it Marco Polo who brought ice cream bk from China? And fuck european apple pies i live near Bramley and u don't get better thn what they make i tell thee!
